It is so beautiful and peaceful!! We were staying in Skykomish and came across deception falls. Very easy hike with amazing views of the falls, streams, and forest. I have back issues and was able to do the whole loop with no issues. There are restrooms in the parking lot, and the trail takes you in a loop, so you end back in the same parking lot, taking either entrance. If you are in the area, I recommend it!
Beautiful trails here. Take time to stop. The walk to the falls is like 2 minutes! Don't miss it!
If you're going over Stevens pass and want to take a break to stretch your legs, this is the perfect place with plenty of parking and two bathrooms. The added bonus is a super short hike with amazing views of the river and falls, combined with a small walking bridge and amazing forest canopy you must stop and see this breath taking trail.
Short walk from the parking lot to the lower and upper falls. Trail ends abruptly on the other side of the highway after passing underneath. Seems like train tracks are above the falls.
I absolutely love this trailhead! It is hidden away on the left side of highway 2 just as you're about to ascend into Steven's Pass. The waterfall is so stunning, and I love the beautiful bridges, trails and trees that flourish here. I can't wait to go back and can only imagine how serene it is in the winter time.
Beautiful hike. Easy access off of highway 2. Public restrooms are available. Some of the picturesque views do require you to walk up or down some stairs, but easy walk. The falls are amazing to see and the trails are well maintained. Definitely a worth stop.
This place is absolutely incredible. Hard to believe it’s right off the highway and have these views to yourself in less than two minutes! Small set of stairs and an easy-to-navigate walking trail. This spot is so accessible it would be a total waste to pass it up! Make the stop, you won’t regret it!
Beautiful, so many falls in one stop! Good trails and clean water!
